In the first quarter of 2025, the pirate games category on the iOS platform in New Zealand showcased varied performances. According to data from Sensor Tower, here's how the top five apps fared.

Sea of Conquest: Pirate War from FunPlus International AG experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.7K in early January, and closing the quarter with $919. Weekly downloads saw a notable rise to 90 in mid-January but showed a declining trend towards the end of March. Active users initially increased, reaching a high of 603 in early February, before gradually decreasing to 162 by the end of the quarter.

Pirate King Legend demonstrated a significant drop in weekly revenue from $1.3K at the start of January to $653 in the following week. Downloads also decreased sharply from 366 to 92 over the same period.

Clash of Yonko by TAIZE STUDIO, released in January, showed a positive revenue trajectory, increasing from $87 to $395 in its second week. Downloads, however, declined from 155 to 40 during this time.

Pirate Battle - Bingo Game had minimal download activity, with numbers ranging from 2 to 30 throughout the quarter, and no recorded revenue.

Lastly, Captain Cooks: Online Games saw a gradual increase in downloads from 2 to 49 by the third week of January, despite having no revenue during this period.
